CAL FIRE says the Ridge Incident fire has been fully contained at 12 acres.
Officials said firefighters will continue to work on the fire for the next week to improve containment lines and eliminate hotspots within the fire perimeter.

UPDATE: JUNE 28, 6 PM:
CAL FIRE says the Ridge Incident fire, burning around 12 acres on Rainbow Ridge above Lake Siskiyou, just west of Mt. Shasta City, is now 85% contained.
Officials say the high temperatures and low humidity are hampering firefighters' efforts to gain full containment. However, the fire's forward progress has been stopped.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The CAL FIRE Siskiyou Unit says the Ridge Incident fire is now 12 acres and 80% contained.

CAL FIRE's Siskiyou Unity has confirmed the Ridge Incident fire is now 12 acres and 50% contained.
Resources continue to strengthen control lines and mop-up in timber.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.

The CAL FIRE Siskiyou Unit says forward progress has been stopped on the Ridge Incident, burning in the Rainbow Ridge above Lake Siskiyou.
According to CAL FIRE, the fire is holding at 10+ acres and is currently 20% contained.
CAL FIRE says the firefighters are having trouble accessing the fire.
There are no evacuation warnings in place and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
